Tuesday, Dec. 1 is our annual Christmas Party. We anticipate 75-80 to attend this event which includes entertainment by Jim Moore and of course a visit from Santa. The annual Lions Club Fishing Derby in April (along with the pond at Oasis Park) will be renamed to honor Lion Bob Ping. Lion Ping initiated the Fishing Derby and ran it for many years until turning it over to Lion Dave Ebberson in the early 90's. Sammy's Kids got off to a roaring start with 250 attending the Jet City Improv Show. The fund has over $1,700 to use to help children of our area experience a little "sunshine" while struggling with serious illnesses. We have been able to provide tickets for 4 year old Shyanne Phillips and her family of Moses Lake for the Princess Classics Ice show in Spokane.
